PAR Government Systems Receives $48 Million Contract
Rome, NY (WIBX) - Congressman Richard Hanna is announcing that a Rome employer is slated to receive a 48-million dollar Army contract.
PAR Government Systems Corporation was granted the award to design and manufacture warfare technology, including surveillance systems and technology. PAR Government is made up of three corporate entities: Rome Research Corporation headquartered in Rome, New York; PAR Government Systems Corporation ("PGSC") also in Rome; and PAR Australia (PAR Technology Australia, Proprietary Limited) in South New Wales.
Hanna says about ten to fifteen percent of the staff in Rome will be dedicated to the project.
In a written statement the Congressman said he is "...pleased PAR Government will provide this work to the U.S. Army to ensure that our men and women who serve on the front lines everyday remain the best equipped force in the world."
