Paris Man Arrested On Sexual Abuse Charge

A registered Level 3 sex offender has been arrested following an incident over the July 4th weekend.

The Oneida County Child Advocacy Center says 42-year old Douglas Wormuth of Paris subjected a child under 11 years old to sexual contact.

Wormuth was charged wth sexual abuse.

The case has been turned over to the District Attorney's Office for grand jury consideration.
