Park Avenue Fire Under Investigation

The cause of an early morning fire on Park Avenue in Utica remains under investigation.

Utica firefighters were called to 1139 Park Avenue just after 3:00 this morning with reports of people still inside the building..

Everyone was able to get out safely.

The two-story building housed four apartments, with two apartments on each floor.

An investigation found the fire started in the bathroom of the second-floor rear apartment.
