Pavement Repairs Could Cause Delays On Thruway

Albany, NY (WIBX) - A pavement repair project on the Thruway between exit 32 in Rome and exit 33 in Verona will mean a delay for westbound motorists.Weather permitting, the project will begin Tuesday morning at 7:00, with worked expected to be completed by 5:00 in the afternoon.

The Thruway Authority says during that time, motorists may experience delays of five to 20 minutes.

A variable message sign will be activated to alert motorists of the closure and delays.
