The Oklahoma City Thunder may have defeated the Los Angeles Lakers to advance to the NBA’s Western Conference finals, but the downtown scene took a turn for the dangerous.

At least eight people were shot after the game let out on Monday night. Details about the event and the motive behind the shootings are still unfolding.

No arrests have been made and no one is in custody, according to authorities. Seven victims were found in a several block radius near Reno Avenue and Mickey Mantle Drive. It is estimated that about 5,000 people were in the area when the shots rang out.

Five of the eight victims were taken to OU Medical Center in the aftermath of the gunfire. One patient was said to be assaulted, while two others were transported to OU via ambulance and were in critical condition. One patient remains critical, while six others were described as “stable.” A pregnant woman was reportedly kicked or hit in the abdomen.
