Petitions Filed For GOP Candidates

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Oneida County GOP Chairman George Mitchell says over 3,500 petition signatures were filed with the Board of Elections this week for countywide candidates.

Republican candidates on the petitions included County Executive Anthony Picente, Comptroller Joseph Timpano and Coroners Kevin Barry and Greg Mills.

Mitchell says the number of signatures was over three times needed for the candidates to get on the November ballot.
