Veteran running back Peyton Hillis was signed by the New York Giants this week as the team continues to struggle with injuries at the RB position.

Hillis is, or at least in his prime, was a unique blend of brute force and athleticism, as evidenced by the video highlights below.

However, this preseason, he signed with and then was cut by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers - so it's not likely that he will be the prime performer he was in 2010, when he ran for 1,177 yards and 11 TD'S.

The video below features some of Hilli's best runs, several of which came in that 2011 campaign. Keep in mind though, Hillis isn't some 30-plus year old runner who has been taking a beating for 10-12 years. He's still just 27.
