Picente Appointed To Power Authority Board Of Trustees

Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente has been appointed to the Board Of Trustees of the New York Power Authority by Governor Andrew Cuomo.

Picente says he thanks the governor for the responsibility and looks forward to being a member of the board and serving in the governance and oversight of the Authority

The county executive says he's also looking forward to assisting businesses in keeping their power costs down so they can expand and be competitive.

The New York Power Authority is America's largest state power organization working with businesses, non-profits and municipalities while supporting thousands of jobs and reducing public sector costs without any tax revenue or state credit.

Governor Cuomo announced a third wave of appointments to his administration today, including Picente's.
