It was standing room only at the Radisson Hotel in Utica this morning as Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente delivered his 9th State of the County Address.

Picente says the state of the county is strong, but we need to keep moving forward.

Picente talked about Nano Utica, improvements at Griffiss International Airport, the county's finances and transportation -- the next focus of his 2020 initiative.

He also unveiled MV 500, a concentrated effort to win $500 million as part of Governor's Cuomo $1.5 billion Upstate Revitalization Competition.

And Picente also put forth a proposal to house the Utica Children's Museum in the REA Wing at Union Station.

The State of the County Address was hosted by the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce.
