Picente Raises Awareness For Giving Tuesday

Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente was joined by representatives from several non-profit groups at the Munson-Williams Proctor Arts Institute on Monday to highlight "Giving Tuesday."

"Giving Tuesday", which is a global day of giving, takes place on November 28th, was established in 2012 as a way to kick-off the charitable season.

“At this time of the year, when many people are focused on shopping deals, let us not forget the local charitable and non-profit organizations that help those in need and enrich our community,” Picente said. “Giving Tuesday is the perfect way to remind our generous residents that their donations are always welcome, especially during the holiday season.”
