Picente Releases Vision 2020 Report
Vision 2020 is an initiative that was launched by Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente to address the needs of the community in preparing for a new economy.
The first phase of the initiative focused on ensuring the county is ready for emerging job opportunities and the needs of a growing workforce.
Picente says the report being released today is also an action plan.
Picente says a town hall-style meeting will be held in September to discuss the impact of Vision 2020 with the community.
Vision 2020 was co-chaired by Mohawk Valley Community College President Randall VanWagoner and County Workforce Development Director David Mathis.
