Utica, NY (WIBX) - Oneida County Executive, Anthony Picente, is encouraging students and employers to apply for this year's College Corps Internship Program.

The program, started in 1998 by the county's Board of Legislators, pairs talented junior and senior college students with local businesses, including Black River Systems and PAR Government / Rome Research.

Picente says the program "provides employers with outstanding, talented interns and increases students' awareness of potential employers in their fields."

Last year, about 125 students participated in the internship program.

Toapply for the internship or to sign your business up, visit ocgov.net, and see the web page for the Office of Workforce Development.
