The Utica College Pioneer Men won their 5th straight on Saturday night in a game in front of the home crowd at the Adirondack Bank Center. The game was tied 1-1 at the end of the first period but Utica scored 3 goals in the 2nd and two more unanswered in the 3rd to win over King's College 6-1.

On Friday night, Utica beat Manhattanville 2-1.

This weekend, the Pioneers have a busy schedule on tap at home.  On Friday night, they're at the Aud hosting Stevenson University and on Saturday, the annual New York Sash Teddy Bear Toss will be held starting at 7 p.m. in a game against Neumann. Fans are encouraged to bring new stuffed animals to the game to be thrown out onto the ice after the first Utica gaol is scored. All stuffed animals will benefit WIBX's Keeler Toy Drive, Operation Sunshine, Spectrum Cable and the Marine Corps League's Toys for Tots. All donations benefit local children.
