Pleasant St. In New Hartford To Close For 6-8 Weeks

Pleasant Street in New Hartford will temporarily close in order to replace an old box culvert.

Starting April 1st, motorists will have to take detours on Graffenburg Road, Higby Road and Tilden Ave.

The culvert is being replaced to allow more water run off and make roads safer. It will also widen the road, assisting in a repaving project later on this year.

Officials with the Public Works Department say Pleasant Road will be closed for six to eight weeks.
