SANGERFIELD, N.Y. (AP) — State police say a motorcycle crash in upstate New York involving a truck has left a woman in critical condition.

Police say the crash happened around 12:30 p.m. Thursday on state Route 20 in Sangerfield. Authorities say a truck making a U-turn struck the motorcycle riding in the passing lane. The two people riding the motorcycle were thrown from the vehicle.

The motorcycle passenger, 58-year-old Michele Price, of Cassville, was taken to Upstate University Hospital where she's listed in critical condition. The operator, 46-year-old William Price, was taken to the same hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.

An investigation continues.
