Police Asking for Help Finding Stolen 1998 Jeep Wrangler

If you have seen someone driving around for the past few weeks in a "brand-new-to-me" 1998 Jeep Wrangler New York State Police want to hear from you.

Troopers are investigating the theft of the vehicle from the Auto Plus parking lot in Hastings, New York.

It is believed that the Wrangler was taken from the lot at approximately 10:30pm on Saturday, January 16, 2016 from the business located at 11 Enterprise Avenue.

According to a written release from the NYSP, the vehicle was last seen as it was being driven north from Enterprise Avenue onto State Route 11.

The vehicle is described as:

• Dark green 1998 Jeep Wrangler
• extended front bumper with winch
• Hood mounted Jack with both ends of jack (RED)
• Headlamps on A-Pillar
• Tan Soft top
• Oversized tires
