Police are investigating a shots fired incident that took place Thursday night at Pizza Boys in New York Mills.

The suspect fled from the scene and drove away.

There were no injuries reported.

UPDATED 3:26 p.m.- New York Mills Police have arrested a Verona man for allegedly firing a gun inside Pizza Boys in New York Mills on Thursday night.

27-year old Tyler Vanderhoof is charged with reckless endangerment.

The owner of Pizza Boys, Shane Carney, issued a statement on the shots fired incident.

By now we're sure most of you have heard about the incident on Thursday evening. We assure you that this was an isolated incident, and no one was hurt.

We continue to thank everyone in our community for their concern and support.

The individual responsible has been apprehended and is in police custody. We are working closely with all levels of law enforcement to fully understand the details of the incident. The safety and security of our customers and staff is our primary concern.

We are open for business as usual for family dining, pick up or delivery.
