City of Oneida, NY (WIBX) - Oneida City Police have issued a warning to parents and trick or treaters of possible contaminated candy. Officials say they are investigating a report of the possible tainted Bubble Gum received by a teen while trick or treating in the area of Broad, Main and Seneca Streets in the City of Oneida.

Officials say after the teen placed the questionable treat in her mouth--she complained that it tasted bitter and tin like, and made her lips somewhat numb. They say her mother confirmed the taste and contacted authorities.

Those who received Super Bubble Gum in a yellow, red and blue wrapper are urged to examine the candy and use discretion before, or if they decide to consume it. The gum is currently being tested for any contamination.
