Police: Man Caught With Bogus Bucks
Clinton, NY (WIBX) – A Deansboro man is charged with trying to pass funny money. Police say 46-year-old John Hughes tried to deposit counterfeit money at the drive-thru window at Access Federal Credit Union in Clinton.Police were called and Hughes was arrested for forgery, which is a felony. He was arraigned in Kirkland Town Court and was sent to the Oneida County Jail. Hughes was released on a 10-thousand dollar bond.
The investigation continues.
