WEBSTER, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say twin 87-year-old Rochester-area sisters who were reported missing after failing to meet a relative near Syracuse have been found.

The Webster Police Department posted a message on its Facebook page just before midnight Wednesday saying "missing persons were located, and are ok." No other information has been provided.

Earlier Wednesday authorities issued a Missing Adult Alert for Dorothy Beh and Doris Jacobs. Webster police say the sisters were driving about 70 miles east to a shopping mall in Clay, outside Syracuse, to meet a relative at a restaurant.

The alert was issued after the sisters didn't show up at the restaurant.
