Police Release Surveillance Photo From Herkimer Robbery

Herkimer, NY (WIBX) - Herkimer police have released a surveillance photo of the suspects in yesterday's robbery of the First Source Federal Credit Union.

Police say two men walked into the Herkimer branch yesterday at around 11:20am. They handed the teller a note and walked away with an undisclosed amount of cash.  They then ran toward a nearby Wal-Mart.

Herkimer Police Chief Joseph Malone described the suspects.  "One is a black male, approximately six feet, [with] two earrings in each ear, wearing a dark jacket, a red hood or hat and had a thin build." The second subject is a little shorter with lighter skin.

Police say no weapons were seen and nobody was injured. Officials are not revealing how much money was taken.
