ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — A new poll shows jobs are a top issue for New York residents.

One in five respondents to a Siena College poll said jobs should be Gov. Andrew Cuomo's top priority in 2017. Education is the No. 2 issue cited by New Yorkers, followed by taxes.

Last year, poll respondents said education was the top issue, followed by jobs and taxes.

The new telephone survey of 807 registered voters was conducted Nov. 27-Dec. 1 and has a 3.8 percentage point margin of error. The poll was released Monday.
