Poll Results: Was The Vice President’s Comment Inappropriate?

Marcy, NY (WIBX) - In a story reported yesterday Vice President Joe Biden was criticized for comments he made at a Virginia campaign stop.

Saying that Republican presidential challenger Mitt Romney would "...put y'all back in chains," Biden later recanted the comment, asserting that he meant to make a clearer reference to "unshackling" the economy.

Too late, said most of our listeners.  Ninety-four point seven percent of WIBX listeners believed that the comment was inappropriate.  Just over five percent said that the comments were not inappropriate.

One thing is for certain, folks are paying attention to every word uttered during this campaign, and the focus may become more intense as the election draws nearer.
