Pope Francis is issuing his environmental encyclical today.

The letter, which reports indicate is approximately two hundred pages, acknowledges Pope Francis' belief that, although other factors might contribute to climate change, global warming is largely the result of human activity.  That premise is disregarded by many, however, and it will be seen later today how the encyclical is received by the public.

Pope Francis' second encyclical is entitled "Laudato Si'" which, translated, means, "Praise Be to You."  It encourages leaders from every facet of society to help address climate change and work to reverse global warming.
