Port Leyden Man Faces Sex Abuse Charges

Lowville, NY (WIBX) - A Port Leyden man is in the Lewis County Correctional Facility after State Police say he allegedly had sexual contact with a girl.

According to State Police in Lowville, 29 year-old Daniel Rounds was arrested on November 28th, for having sexual contact with a girl under the age of 11.

The incident took place back in September 2008.

Rounds is charged with one count each of Sex Abuse and Criminal Sex Act, both felonies, and one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a misdemeanor.

He was arraigned in the Town of Lowville Count and taken to jail in lieu of bail.
