Port Leyden Woman Arrested For Larceny

A Port Leyden woman was arrested following an investigation into larceny by scheme.
The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office say 23-year old Brittany Lloyd presented herself as a sales rep for Avon, solicited an order and requested pre-payment of $193.
Deputies say Lloyd never provided the products that were ordered.
The investigation also found that Lloyd had not submitted any orders with Avon.
She was charged with petty larceny.
Anyone who may have had similar contact with Lloyd is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 736-0141.
