A statuette at the Manchester Museum was recently captured by security footage showing the statue moving on its own.The 10-inch statue of Neb-Sanu, an Egyptian piece that has been on display for more than 80 years was noticed by museum staff after they saw the statuette had been rotated within a locked glass case. When they reviewed the time-lapse camera, they caught the rather odd occurrence. The statuette slowly turns by itself.
Some are speculating that vibrations could be the cause of the peculiar phenomena but the museum staff were quick to dismiss those thoughts. Curator Campbell Price said to The Independent:
But it has been on those surfaces since we have had it and it has never moved before. And why would it go around in a perfect circle?
