Poverty Symposium Friday

Utica, NY (WIBX) - The Mohawk Valley Community Action Agency, and the Community Coalition for Economic Justice will present the 3rd Annual Poverty Symposium and Community Champions Luncheon.

The event, co-chaired by the president of Mohawk Valley Community College, Dr. Randall VanWagoner, and the Assemblywoman RoAnn Destito, will feature 5 speakers who will discuss local, state, and national poverty issues.

The day long event is being held on Friday May, 20th, beginning at 8:30 a.m. on the Utica campus of Mohawk Valley Community College.
