Some New York State Electric and Gas customers are looking at starting their weekend still without power following April 4’s powerful winds that swept the state.

NYSGE’s website says it is still assessing the restoration time for customers in the Deposit area while people in western New York in spots like Buffalo were being told they may not have electricity until 11:45 p.m. April 7.

Customers in Otsego County still without electricity may also be looking at getting power back on late Saturday night.

Customers in Oxford and Smyrna may have their power restored by 6 p.m. Saturday.
