Powerball Jackpot Soars To $500 Million [AUDIO]

The Powerball jackpot is swelling to massive proportions.

The multi-state lottery game's top prize has grown to $500 million.

We had a chance to talk with Yolanda Vega of the New York Lottery today.  Vega says It's soared this high because no one has matched all six numbers to win the top prize since November 29th.

Vega has some advice for Powerball players.

She also had this advice when it comes to picking numbers.

The lump sum cash option for tonight's drawing is nearly $338 million.  The odds of winning by the way are one-in-175-million.
