Presbyterian Community Resident Celebrates 103rd Birthday

Martin "Bud" Kaylor has lived in the Presbyterian Home since 1999 when he moved in to join his wife. He Recently turned 103 years old.

Bud is affectionately known as the "Mayor of PRC" because of his work at the home throughout the years.

Bud and his wife Mary would play Mr. and Mrs. Claus every Christmas and were nominated volunteers of the year.

Bud also served as President of the resident council for many years and served as the Grand Marshall of the PRC's Mardi Gras Parade.

He came to the area as Statewide Director of the Moose Lodge and he never left.

Bud says he still enjoys lively conversation, music and even the occasional scotch and soda.

He was visited on his birthday by his daughter Jean, who brought her family from Pennsylvania to celebrate 103 with him.
