New York, NY (WIBX) - With four months to go before the election, the latest Reuters-Ipsos poll shows that President Obama has a six-point lead over presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney.

The President is leading Romney forty-nine to forty-three percent, and his approval rating has gone up one percentage point to forty-eight percent.

Additionally, the number of Americans who think that the country is going in the wrong direction is down five percent, from sixty-three to fifty-eight percent.
