Presumed Beating Sends Woman to Hospital

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica Police responded to St. Elizabeth's Hospital early Sunday morning, in regard to an assault. The victim, who was was being evaluated for possible broken facial bones, told police that she and her boyfriend began arguing and that he punched her in the face repeatedly during the altercation, according to a statement issued by Utica Police.   

The suspect, 48 year old Lawrence Chambers was located and arrested, he was charged with misdemeanor Assault.
