Schenectady, NY (WIBX) - Price Chopper is issuing a voluntary recall on Enfamil 12.5 ounce Newborn formula manufactured by Mead Johnson.The product is being recalled due to published reports about the possible presence of a bacteria which may be connected to the death of an infant in Missouri.

The FDA is testing the product, but at this time, has found no reason to mandate a recall.

Price Chopper officials say they're pulling the product from store shelves and will refrain from selling it until the FDA issues a determination that the formula is safe for consumption.

The Newborn formula in question was sold between November 2nd and December 22nd.

Customers can return the product to their local Price Chopper store for a full refund.
