A Prospect woman is facing several charges, including drunk driving, following an incident that occurred on State Route 12 on Sunday.

According to a written release from New York State Police, who were on the scene of the accident at approximately 11:00pm on February 28, 2016, Carol A. Crill was allegedly found to have a blood alcohol concentration of .19% (point-one-nine percent).

Troopers say, "When Trooper Robert Staskoski arrived at the scene he discovered the vehicle 150 feet off ST-12 and into a marsh.  The operator, Carol A. Crill, age 65, of Prospect NY, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and found to have a BAC of .19%."

MetroSource reports her vehicle was found stuck in a marsh and 150 feet off of the roadway.

Crill, who was issued an appearance ticket, is facing the following charges:

  • Aggravated DWI
  • Moving from Lane Unsafely
  • Drinking Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle

She is scheduled to answer the charges in court at a later date.
