Utica, NY (WIBX) - Two people were taken to jail following one of Utica Mayor, Rob Palmieri's Quality of Life Sweeps. The men were pulled over near Lincoln Avenue yesterday afternoon and arrested on drug charges. But, not before the passenger got tased for his alleged attempt to flee the scene.

The suspects, 45-year-old William Ford and 30-year-old Johnathan Farley are charged with drug possession after police say they found cocaine and heroin in the car. The passenger, Ford, is facing additional charges for resisting arrest and parole violation.
