Syracuse beat Duke on Saturday night 91-89 in one of the biggest and most memorable games ever played at the Carrier Dome.

It was a game of firsts!

  • -It was the first meeting ever in Syracuse, or even on a college campus for that matter,  between 'Cuse and Duke.
  • -Syracuse went to 21-0 for the first time ever in program history
  • -Mike Krzyzewski and Jim Boehim had a combined 1,914 wins and now Syracuse owns the 1,915th
  • -It was the largest college basketball crowd ever on a college campus and the largest ever Syracuse Basketball crowd at 35,466.

It was also a game that Jim Boeheim called the best game ever played at the Dome and with a finish like this one in overtime, a lot of people had a lot to say.  We've compiled a few of those comments, including ones that came from our very own staff members.
