‘Rally For The Rails’ Held In Utica
Advocates and supporters of the Remsen to Lake Placid Adirondack Rail Corridor held a "Rally for The Rails" this afternoon.
The rally took place outside of the State Office Building in downtown Utica.
Last month, Governor Cuomo approved a plan to remove the tracks from Tupper Lake to Lake Placid and replace them with a recreational trail.
Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi, who's been a strong supporter of keeping the rail line intact, was among those attending the rally.
