Rapper DMX to Serve Jail Time in Buffalo, NY for Failure to Pay Child Support Charges

A rapper arrested before a show in New York City last month will remain behind bars for the next few months.

Performer DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was taken in for questioning by police on June 26, 2015, just before appearing in a show at Radio City Music Hall.

WIVB-TV reports that Simmons was sentenced to six months at the Erie County Holding Center in Buffalo.  According to The Guardian, Simmons was arrested on family court charges that he owes $400,000 in child support.
