Utica, NY (WIBX) - A new Rasmussen survey finds that 47 percent of likely voters say they have more confidence in where the country is headed now that Republicans have control of the House. However, 33 percent say they don't share the same view, and 20 percent say they're not sure the GOP has a better plan for the future.

The survey also finds that 41 percent of people say the Democratic Party has a better plan for the future, and 38 percent of people believe otherwise, while 21 percent say they're undecided. The results come from a nationwide poll of 1,000 likely voters.
