Red Bull Thief Caught Red-Handed
Utica, NY (WIBX) – Utica Police arrested 46 year old Pernell Johnson of Utica, for allegedly trying to steal nearly $60 in Red Bull, that’s the popular Austrian energy drink, from the Price Chopper on Genesee Street.
According to Utica Police, Johnson was apprehended and detained by a member of the store’s loss prevention team. When Utica Police arrived at the scene, Officer Benjamin Perra arrested Johnson and charged him with petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor.
Johnson was later issued an appearance ticket returnable to Utica City Court on the 27th day of May 2011.
