The Mets' offensive futility continued on Wednesday night, mustering just four hits and one run in a 6-1 loss to the Cincinnati Reds.

R.A. Dickey was also lacking his best form, giving up ten hits and five runs over six innings. The knuckler did strike out nine, but saw his record dip to 15-4.

Mike Leak tossed a complete game to up his mark to 7-9, striking out four Mets and walking none, keeping the 3-through-9 hitters off the bases. Mike Baxter and Ruben Tejada each had two hits, accounting for all of New York's baserunners.

Cincinnati smacked 13 base hits, including three from Todd Frazier and two apiece from Scott Rolen, Jay Bruce and Zack Cozart. Frazier, Rolen and Bruce each clubbed solo-homers off Dickey.

The Mets have lost dropped seven of their last nine and 22 of 31 since the All-Star break.
