Registration For 2014 Boilermaker To Begin On March 22nd

If you're hoping to run the 2014 Boilermaker Road Race, here's a date to mark down on your calendar.

On-line registration for the 37th running of the Boilermaker will begin at noon on March 22nd at www.boilermaker.com.

This year's 15-K race sold out in just 3 days and the 5-K closed out in four days.

The caps for both races will remain the same -- 14,000 runners for the 15-K and 4,500 for the 5-K.

Race Director Jim Stasaitis says they felt that pushing registration closer to race day would give participants a better chance to both know where they are in their training and have a better idea of the social obligations.

The 2014 Boilermaker takes place on Sunday, July 13th.
