Utica, NY (WIBX) - Don't forget to leave canned goods or non-perishable food items out by your mailbox tomorrow (SAT) morning.

It's the 19th annual Letter Carriers Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.

Postal workers will be collecting the items tomorrow and it all benefits local food pantries, including Hope House, the Utica Community Community Food Bank, Thea Bowman House, the Utica Rescue Mission and the Salvation Army, among many others.

Letter carrier Paul Yarwood says the Utica Post office typically collects between 12,000-14,000 pounds of food.
