Remington Arms Employee Charged With Unlawful Surveillance
An employee at Remington Arms has been arrested for allegedly placing a cellphone in the ceiling of the ladies’ bathroom.
Ilion Police say the cellphone was recording a view of a toilet.
25-year old Justyn Lawrence of Frankfort is charged with a felony count of unlawful surveillance.
Police say at this point in the investigation, there does not appear to be any additional victim.
Remington Arms security and Ilion Police have completed an inspection of all bathrooms at the Remington plant and have not located any other recording devices.
