Remsen Man Driving Moped Charged With DWI

State Police say a Remsen man driving a Moped was charged with aggravated DWI following a traffic stop on Route 12 in Boonville.

Troopers say 41-year old Kevin Barnhart allegedly had a BAC of nearly three times the legal limit.

Barnhart was also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and operating a vehicle without insurance.

he was arraigned in Town of Steuben Court and released on his own recognizance.
