The report resulting from the investigation into the shooting death of Oneida County Sheriff's Deputy Kurt Wyman has been completed.

Sheriff Rob Maciol is reviewing the seventy-page report and expects to release it to the public as soon as possible.

Maciol says that some procedural changes have already been made in the aftermath of the incident that ended Wyman's life.  If the report recommends additional changes those will be carefully considered and adopted.

Wyman was shot by Christian Patterson while responding to a call in 2011.  Patterson is serving time in state prison after being convicted for the murder.
