We're learning more about the elbow injury that sidelined Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen against Houston on Sunday.

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting Allen injured his ulnar collateral ligament - the same ligament that often puts baseball pitchers on the shelf with Tommy John Surgery. Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius tore his UCL recently and will be off the baseball field for approximately 8-9 months.

However, Schefter says the damage is not considered major, but Allen is getting a second opinion from renowned orthopedic surgeon, Dr. James Andrews, who works with many high profile athletes.

BuffaloBills.com reported Monday that Allen was officially considered week to week, and could be available this Sunday at Indianapolis, head coach Sean McDermott said.
