Three teenagers are facing felony charges in connection with the sale of an allegedly stolen gun on the grounds of Canastota's South Side Elementary School, according to a report from WSYR-TV.

Citing the Madison County Sheriff's Office, the report says Jeffrey Cox, 17, of Canastota is charged with felony criminal sale of a firearm, along with misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a firearm. A 16-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy face felony criminal sale of a fire charges, as wel. The 14-year-old is facing an additional felony charge for criminal possession of a gun on school grounds, the report says.

It is unclear whom the gun was sold to, or what type of firearm it was.
