Republicans Supporting Picente, Timpano in Re-election Bids

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Anthony Picente and Joseph Timpano are both seeking re-election this fall and both have the support of the county's Republican party.

Oneida County GOP Chairman George Mitchell says Picente and Timpano were both unanimously endorsed at a recent committee meeting.

Picente was first appointed as county executive in 2006 and won election the following year.

Timpano was appointed comptroller in 1998 and has won election to the office three timesn in 1999, 2003 and 2007.
